Product Manager

As the Product Manager you are the ultimate authority of all things product-related. You know what and why we are building the product and you are able to eloquently and clearly explain it to everyone. You understand the market deeply, and you care about the customer pains, and what brings value to them. Less is simple, and you understand that better than anyone. So you are focused, yet inventive enough to consider more elegant alternatives to the customer problems. You are comfortable devising strategies and translating them into concrete and achievable roadmaps. You are equally comfortable with business, finance and technology, and you thrive when you need to balance those out. Your colleagues will seek your guidance when there’s a need for focusing or clarifying the next steps.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with the all the product stakeholders and handling the tensions that naturally arise in-between all roles
  • Observing and understanding the several dimensions of the customer pains
  • Grooming the product vision and roadmap, while keeping priorities straight among all stakeholders
  • Translating the roadmap into functional requirements
  • Coordinating with dev teams to derive actionable and verifiable technical requirements
  • Communicating clearly and abundantly, ensuring everyone’s buy-in and commitment to the vision and roadmap
  • Defining and controlling the product cost and revenue structures during its full lifecycle
  • Adapting the roadmap according to the lessons learned, while seeking to optimize development and production times and costs
  • Coordinating with marketing and sales teams in defining and applying the proper product placement and marketing strategy

Experience Requirements

  • Academic background in a relevant engineering field (robotics, electrical, mechanical, physics, industrial)
  • Professional background in robotics, space, aeronautics or automotive (highly valued)
  • 3 to 7 years experience in similar and relevant roles
  • A stellar track record with cross-disciplinary products and/or projects, involving both hardware (mandatory) and software
